Certification: Training Centers

Training organizations, including nonprofit, academic, and for-profit training centers, may pursue certification as a Professional Training Center (PTC). This certification evaluates the management of training procedures as well as the skills of the individual trainers associated with the training center. The PTC certification is awarded for one year, and recertification is authorized. Organization and vendor members may apply for this certification. The PTC certification is valid only for full members in good standing.

Each trainer employed by the organization must meet the requirements of individual trainer certification. In addition, a nonrefundable application fee must accompany the application. An onsite visit may be required by one or more members of the ITrain board of directors.

Certification Tracks

The certification program has three tracks:

Professional Technical Trainer (individuals, no charge)
Professional Training Center (organizations, $1,499)
Professional Training Materials (materials & supplies, $499)
